9th Grade Summer Enrichment Program

 

SUMMER ENRICHMENT 2017

At-risk incoming 9th graders, as identified through STAR math assessments in 8th grade.

Students will attend three, 80-minute rotating blocks.

We are seeking a total of three teachers:

(1) math, (1) technology, and (1) team-building coach.


Program Dates: August 14th to 17th

Posting Date: June 19, 2017

Teacher Hours:7:30-12:00  4 days + additional 4 hours prep

Student Hours: 8:00 -12:00

Representation Status:  EAL (Teacher’s Union)

Qualifications & Responsibilities:  Candidate shall possess a Bachelor’s degree and will instruct 9th-grade students.

Substitute Hiring Process
  1. Complete chosen application and required CORI form - bring to the central office.
  2. Central office will submit CORI request. If approved:
  3. Application is sent to school principal(s).
  4. Principal contacts applicant for an interview. If approved for hire:
  5. Applicant makes an appointment with Payroll Dept. to fill out paperwork and learn about our substitute software program.
  6. Receive an email from Payroll Dept. with log-in information.
  7. Begin substituting in the Leicester Public Schools District.
**Leicester Public Schools requires all substitutes to be fingerprinted within three weeks of hire.**
